    The courts are going to find in favor of the elderly woman if the document had language regarding the condition of her residence. You can't quitclaim a condition under someone elses authority.

    The courts are going to find in favor of the law. In North Carolina it was almost impossible to evict someone in that situation. In Vegas, it was a piece of cake.

    I responded by saying tenancy laws vary significantly from state to state, and they do not always favor the tenant. In fact, they often favor the landlord, as they stand to loose a lot more than the tenant.
