What countries allow open carry?

Can't seem to find anything searching on google.

Does anyone know of other countries that allow open carry? Or is United States pretty much the only country where open carry is pretty easily done?

Somalia, Nigeria, Sudan spring to mind quickly, as does Afghanistan, although the OC of long guns seems to be the prevalent option for all four. Heck, they seem to have no problem with folks whose weapons have "Da Switch"!

You forgot poland :3

Israel

Do a search about Israel and what they do about guns, even in schools. They don't call it OC because that is more of an American term.

So it seems that israel is really the only developed nation other than America to allow open carry? I am assuming Poland is a joke, they do not allow open carry there.

I don't know, all I'm saying is it may not be as big a deal to distinguish between OC and CC. You may also check into Switzerland.

Just for the sake of discussion, let's say that The United States of America is in fact the only nation on the face of the Earth and in the known universe where the open carrying of handguns is well-tolerated.

So what?

Are you suggesting that the abberation is a thing that should be relegated to regulation based on the prevalence and predelictions of what everybody else is doing?

There are a few things that make The United States of America different than any other nation on the face of the Earth and in the known universe. Generally those are the things that intice folks from everywehere else to want to come and live here. While the toleration of the open carrying of handguns might not be, in and of itself, one of those things that intice others to want to come and live here, it surely is indicative of the overall reasons.

So, again - So What?
