Kansas movie theaters - Specifically AMC Studio's

I was told that AMC Studio's has donated money and still is to defeat carry conceal, proposition b. Can someone fill me in on this? Olathe, Kansas is OPEN CARRY compliant w/without a permit, but I been seeing postings stating that AMC Studio's donates money to defeat conceal carry? I am just trying to figure out if this is an old or an on going thing for AMC Studio's. I have carried concealed in a few AMC theaters as they did not have the approve AG "Gun buster sign".
