I just moved to the area and expirenced my first negitive expirence at Milo's subs on lake and lyndale. I no more then walked in when the guy behind the counter said " you can not be in here with that" as he pointed at my holstered pistol on my hip. I was speechless as I've never had this happen. I simple said ok and left. Any suggestions ?
I've gone to jimmy johns and never had a problem, granted I'm just outside the cities, I suppose you could just flip your shirt over it... If you really want to open carry you could call the establishment and explain the situation to them, if not just say "you ban my firearm in your business, I ban my business of being your paying customer" p.s. no way in heck would I be in the cities and not carry. Especially on lake

Well, Milio's is a chain of shops based in Madison, WI. Send an email to their corporate HQ and ask why they are turning away law-abiding customers:
You are in a very popular part of town, but it's also popular with criminals. Be safe.
Minneapolis has this nifty network of acoustic sensors up on the utility poles, called "ShotSpotter," and for a couple of million bucks, they get a system that triangulates the gunfire and they know where to send the guys with the chalk.
Sorry about all the links, but here's my last one. It's a website that you can update yourself, to help us all start keeping track of businesses, either pro-2nd Amendent or ANTI. There is strength in numbers.
