So, I just saw this posted up on another forum. I decided to view the video link, which is an audio only recording, after reading a few comments on it.

http://www.examiner.com/libertarian...ino-s-exchange-with-philadelphia-police-video

The recording is made by one Mark Fiorino. I may be a bit sketchy on the details, but basically, he was open carrying, in Philidelphia, while in possession of a valid CHP for the state. An officer approached him, drew on him, and then proceeded to spout profanities at him, before demanding that he get down on his knees. I seem to recall him spouting an "or else I'll shoot you" comment, but I might have misheard. When his backup arrives, they force him to the ground, and arrest him.

They didn't know he had a recording device in his pocket, and were not pleased when they found out. He was released without charges, but when it was discovered that the audio displaying the brutish, vulgar, and unprofessional manner in which they carried themselves was released on youtube, they brought him up on charges. I haven't seen a lot of coverage of this so far, so I say to you this: Listen to it, at least for four minutes. If what you hear disturbs you, pass it on to anyone else you know, and write a complaint to the city of Brotherly Fail,

This is pretty old news and has been posted about numerous times on here.

A: Ongoing news, in which the trial hasn't been held.
B: In the several months I've been here, it hasn't been posted in the NC section, which is where I post often.
C: Thank you for being supremely unhelpful, instead of, say, mentioning your thoughts about it, or informing me of something I didn't know.

A) Actually he was found not guilty on both counts in oct 2011. Federal lawsuit has been filed.
B) probably not posted in NC section because it pertains to PA
c) he did mention his thoughts...he said it was old news. I hope I have informed you of something you didn't know.

An update thread...

There was an open carry march...

And the Federal lawsuit thread...

^These are all in the PA sub-forum, along with many others. I'm pretty sure I recall threads throughout OCDO back when this all got started, but I draw the line at hunting them down. ;)
