Governor Malloy wants to put veterans to work?

Connecticut Carry has sent the following to our media contacts. I invite everyone here to forward this to anyone and everyone they know.

A veteran needs our help, we owe him our help.

If Connecticut's Governor Malloy is so worried about putting veterans to work, why is he spending state resources on prosecuting a veteran on bogus and absurd charges that are hurting that veteran's earning potential? Who wants to hire someone with pending criminal charges that have gone on for over a year?

Why do those veterans who return from war who want to carry a firearm for the defense of themselves and the state like our state's constitution (Article 1, Section 15) guarantees have to pay an extra 50 dollar tax to obtain a pistol permit that they will have to wait a ridiculous amount of time for and be required unlawfully to disclose personal information only to have it taken away on the ridiculous accusations of a convicted felon?

What are the state's true priorities? Who in the media is brave enough to present these glaring contradictory issues to the public and stand up for our veterans?

Connecticut Carry is certainly ready, it is time for the media to get on board.

    Repectfully,
