Denied, CCW Applicant in California Demonstrates Need By Thwarting Home Invasion

As a law-abiding Californian, my friend and colleague, Jesse Childers, was flatly denied a concealed carry permit at the end of March 2012. Less than one month later, he thwarts a home invasion robbery at his own residence through lawful defensive gun use. Ask yourself this question--does it make sense that only the violent criminals should be armed in public?
