Xd9:

The Olathe Police are NOT going to Help You in This Instance.

However, Kansas Code 12,16-124(b)(2) Generally Prohibits Olathe from Regulating Open Carry by a Person who is Licensed under The Kansas Family and Personal Protection Act.

The Code herein Referenced is Veiwable here: http://kslegislature.org/li/b2011_1..._article/012_016_0124_section/012_016_0124_k/

Any Local Ordinances in Violation of Kansas Code 12,16-128 are Preempted under Kansas Code 12,16-128(a).

Here is a link to the city of Olathe's municipal codes. They do not have any thing regulating "open carry". The sections you are looking for start at 09.12.20.
If I were going to carry in Olathe, I would print these out and carry them with me.

I know that the qouted part falls under concealed carry, however I want to make sure I understand this correctly. Am I able to carry (concealed, or open) into an establishment such as Red Robin, or Applebees as long as I am not drinking?

(l) any portion of a drinking establishment as defined by K.S.A. 41-2601, and
amendments thereto, except that this provision shall not apply to a restaurant as defined by
K.S.A. 41-2601, and amendments thereto;
