I carry a 92FS daily and yes it's big and heavy. It really comes down to what you are most comfortable with. For me, I knew the moment I sent the first bullet down range with my father's M9 that the 92FS was going to be the right gun for me. I'm more accurate with it than most everything else I've shot and it is more comfortable to me than anything else. I like the DA/SA setup and being able to carry with a round chambered and the hammer down. I'm willing to substitute a little weight and easy of carry for that. It is also referred to as the movie gun by several of my friends due to it's capacity. Compared to some of the single stack guns it seems like the 92FS never runs out of bullets. There are those days though where I really do want to have something lighter. I wish I had more knowledge on the PX4, but I haven't spent much time with one.
