If you support Gov. Walker, please remember to vote tomorrow, (Tues the 8th). The media has done a great job, of covering up the fact that this is not just a Democratic primary. Walker will be on the ballot against a fake Repub challenger. Meaning, if they snuck this by enough people, he would not even be on the ballot in June. They know that being sneaky is their only chance of removing him.

And if you think that any Democrat candidate for governor would be better than Walker, as they expressed in their last debate...

Take a look at the five page platform of the Wisconsin Democratic party, passed June 12, 2010:

http://d21971ua898zk6.cloudfront.net/39/dc/4/588/2/dpw_2010_platform_-_final.pdf

After nearly 2 pages of support of all type of rights, including "current undocumented residents", and statements of

We will work to ensure that basic civil liberties are forever preserved.

When government attempts to limit the rights of its citizens, the fundamental philosophy on which our nation was established is destroyed. We hold sacrosanct our civil liberties, including but hardly limited to freedom of speech, the right to privacy, the presumption of innocence, the principle of habeus corpus, and due process under law.

The bottom of page 2 has:

We support reasonable firearms regulations to ensure the safety of citizens and law enforcement officials. We support the right to hunt and bear arms. We support Wisconsin's concealed carry ban.

?HUNT and bear arms?

You'll notice the party platform does not say "right to Keep and bear arms" as you would expect. After all, THAT is in the title of Section 25, Article 1 of the Wisconsin constitution. Since there is no firearm hunting in Milwaukee County, I guess i would be disarmed, when near home.

It is foolish to hope that they are not serious about supporting the principles in their party platform.

Adults often have to choose between 2 or more imperfect choices. In politics, unless voting for yourself, that is nearly always the case. If we don't vote, we just let others make that choice for us. You might as well just hand your ballot to a stranger. Please, make your choice Tuesday.

I realize most of you know this, I'm just reminding you. No offense intended.

Nay 1R 26D ...................... 27 Nay total

Well those 27 that don't support the Constitution of the United States should find their way back to what ever socialist republic they came from. Anyway I will be voting for Walker in the primary and recall election.

I have soooo many friends that didn't know they had to vote today. I find it very scary, how liberal media can twist things to blind people about what is really going on.

I logged my vote, it was a bit unnerving how many people I saw that were clearly against Walker compared to how many people I saw which could have been for or against him. The media did a REAL good job at making this primary largely be off the radar.

The guy in front of me appeared to be one of the typical Madison sheep with all the pins and what not on his jacket. He had trouble feeding his ballot into the machine so I tried to assist and I noticed he voted for the other "republican". Kind of makes me wonder exactly what is going on out there... Maybe he really does like the other guy, but I doubt it.

On a side note, I was surprised to hear that my mother, an actual registered socialist, does not support the recall effort. She doesn't like Walker at all, but thinks the recall effort is ridiculous. I told her that she needed to vote FOR Walker based on that and she said that is what is troubling her! I think she is actually losing sleep over her dilema. Hopefully her logic will prevail.

In Wisconsin, registered, like closed primaries? I don't think so.

Maybe party member for subscribing with money. Like prostitutes, political parties will take money from anyone and do and say anything to get more.

So the Dem platform in 2010 supported the ban on CC, but then last year half the Dems voted for CC?

Common posturing move. They were flat outnumbered and had no chance of stopping it, so why not put on a pro-gun front? In a dem controlled legislature, CC never even got to the floor.

How many of those dems who voted for it voted to override dummydoyle's veto of it?
