    Maryland files final brief in Woollard v. Sheridan
    The case is Woollard v. Sheridan and the primary issue is whether or not Maryland’s discretionary may-issue handgun permitting scheme is constitutional.

    Underlying that issue is the broader question of whether or not the Second Amendment right articulated in District of Columbia v. Heller extends to “bearing arms” outside the home and, if so, to what extent.

    This could have major implications for D.C. and Chicago...
    I no longer have any confidence in the moderation or administration of this forum. Nonetheless, the First STILL protects the Second, and the Second protects the First! Together, they protect the rest of our Bill of Rights and other founding documents. If you're going to do anything at all, do it right!

    Oh NO!! Not another state falling to the dogs for wanting to practice a right that's given to them! What arrogance! //sarcasm off//

    If the judge lifts the temp stay/injunction and the state appeals; it would definately set the stage for more substantiation of our rights! Look out Chicago and DC.
