"U.S. Argues to Preserve GPS Tracking": In Friday's edition of The Wall Street Journal, Julia Angwin and Jess Bravin will have an article that begins, "The U.S. government told a federal appeals court Thursday that it still has the right to place Global Positioning System tracking devices on cars without obtaining a search warrant--despite a January Supreme Court ruling that the warrantless installation of such a device violated the Constitution." You can access via this link the audio of today's oral argument before a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Interesting .

Suppose it couldn't hurt to have a bug/GPS detector on hand .

I'm waiting for someone to find one of these on their vehicle and pull it out . Then put it on either a train going cross country , or an "officials" car .
