Not that I'm aware of in the criminal code of the State of Alabama (Title 13).

I'm not entirely up to date on the motor vehicle code. Basically, we have to have a license to carry a pistol concealed or in a vehicle... so if you have one of those, then that should do you...

Like Kirbinator, I'm not aware of any AL statute that bans carry in a semi truk but every truck driver I've ever talked to about this subject says it's against fed law to do so.

That is the trouble with trying to write a law to make something legal. It's very hard to do so.

In a nutshell, there ain't a law against it, it ain't illegal. What they tried to do was re-write the second amendment, and failed.
