There are signs at every entrance under "Mall Rules" in 2pt. Type that says:"All weapons prohibited". Sorry, I found out the hard way...

Must be a different 4 seasons mall than the one here in Greensboro, because I've never seen gunbuster signs there.

They're not the "circle-slash-gun" signs. Its literally in fine print (quite literally close to 2-point size) at the bottom of the list of mall rules at the entrances. Next time I'm there ill get a pic of them. Probably won't be until this weekend though.

Park in the parking garage by JC Penny. Then enter via Penny's side-door. No signage posted ;)

Recommended for concealed carry, but open carry will be an invitation to be asked to leave, or possibly even charged with tresspass. I don't think there are any malls in NC (at least none I've been to) that allow guns. Of course, that didn't stop the gang banger from going into Cross Creek Mall last December and shooting another guy.

You can't be charged with trespass unless you refuse to leave when asked.

Bet they can charge you with something if you open carry in a mall that has no gun notices posted. Yeah, I know if you go through an entrance without the sign, you could likely get out of the charge. You just gotta decide if the hassle is worth it. Personally, in those situations, I feel out of sight out of mind is the thought for the day.

It is clearly stated in NC firearms statutes

14-159.13. Second degree trespass
(a) Offense.--A person commits the offense of second degree trespass if, without authorization, he enters or remains on premises of another:

(1) After he has been notified not to enter or remain there by the owner, by a person in charge of the premises, by a lawful occupant, or by another authorized person; or

(2) That are posted, in a manner reasonably likely to come to the attention of intruders, with notice not to enter the premises.

(b) Classification.--Second degree trespass is a Class 3 misdemeanor.
