Jesse Jackson: We Are Going to March on Gun Shops

Last night in Racine, Wisconsin, while demanding jobs for the unemployed, Jesse Jackson decided to slam job creating gun dealers and called for a march on gun shops all over the country.

Jackson wants to get rid of the very thing that has kept the economy afloat during Obama's presidency. The firearms industry has not only created jobs in the past three years but has also provided the government with a steady revenue stream.

    Jesse who? Enough stated!
I don't mind watching the OC-Community (tea party 2.0's, who have hijacked the OC-Community) cannibalize itself. I do mind watching OC dragged through the gutter. OC is an exercise of A Right. I choose to not OC; I choose to not own firearms. I choose to leave the OC-Community to it's own self-inflicted injuries, and eventual implosion. Carry on...

Hypothetically speaking, if they march on a gun store shouting and screaming does that constitute an immediate threat? What if someone is coming out of the store and someone in the march decides to throw something or grap or touch him or her?

I think marching on gun stores is a bad idea. Just me, but the Reverend might get what he wants.

Of course Jesse Jackson can't find any gun shops to march on in his home town of Chicago since there aren't any there. How odd that Jesse comes from the most restrictive gun law state in the nation, so now he's going to Wisconsin to make a point? Smells like political sensationalism to me. But that's always been Jesse Jackson's lifeboat as a politcian.

Jesse, nobody in Wisconsin cares about your march on gun shops! Wisconsin just made it perfectly clear to the rest of the country how they feel about gun laws! If only Illinois would follow Wisconsin's example. Now why don't you stay home, and try to do some good in Chicago by addressing discrimination against gun owners? For once in your life, make yourself useful!

    Problem here is....

Someone will try to break into the store......throw a rock through the window.....refuse to leave........ etc etc..

    Someone will start a fight.....

The guys RUNNING the shop, seeing 50+ people coming at them, will order them to stop, they won't.... 'Those people' will then ASK to be shot, taunting them...

Store employees will draw a mental line in the sand, and down 2 or 3 people as they cross it...

Then 'those people' will go on about how racist they are, and how they were peacefully there, trying to talk, and these racists storekeepers just shot at them for no reason and blah blah blah blah...

Nothing! It's just a shame that any association of these fine products with Mr. Jackson reduces their appeal considerably.

Considering that Jesse Jackson was a key player in the MLK assassination as a deep-cover CIA/FBI asset, and the fact that his entire career is essentially based on legally-purchased .30-06 hunting rifle, you'd think he would be a little more appreciative of law-abiding gunshop owners.

jesse jackson is nothing more than a racist POS. who, just like all liberty grabbing liberals, need a crisis to further their anti American agenda.

If we the peaceful OC gun owners were to hang out in front of a store the cops would be called on us and we would have some explaining to do and get plenty of bad press.

If they were to enter a store and start stealing, smashing windows, etc and were shot for their efforts, we the gun owners would be cast in a bad light and get plenty of bad press again.

The difference is that the second scenario would have a more polarizing effect that might serve as the spark for an armed revolution.
Provision for free medical attendance and nursing, for clothing, for food, for housing, for the education of children, and a hundred other matters, might with equal propriety be proposed as tending to relieve the employee of mental strain and worry. --- These matters obviously lie outside the orbit of congressional power. Same thing happened in Detroit - three (3) folks came to stand in front of a gun store and whine. About 50 came to gawk at the buffoons and support the gun store. (Seriously, outnumbered 15+::1 )

Want to guess which side engaged in shouting and other antisocial behavior?

People like Mr. Jackson are obviously lacking enough brain cells to make rational statements. If gun restrictions work so well why does chicago have one of the highest violent crime rates in the world??? They have nothing to say that normal Americans want to hear, so they must appease the small minority of anti-gunners who would rather have the government tell them what to do than make those decisions for themselves. I hate socialists!
