I have heard that if your out of state license is for concealed carry only, CCDW, CHL, and not a License To Carry a Handgun, that they will only allow you to concealed carry.

I have no documentation to back this up though.
That would be just like my old home state. Thing is, we don't need a license in Michigan to OC, until you get in a car. Oh well.

FLB---I was always under that understanding--that if I was to carry in IN, I would have to carry concealed as that is what my KY CCDW says. But thinking about it more, when I'm in IN, I'm going to abide by IN law. And IN law says that they will honor other licenses. If that's the case, I assume that a LTCH=CCDW and will carry according to IN law, not KY when I am actually in the state of IN.
