Hi all, my name is Robert Herd, I'm new here... I've been looking at starting to open carry and really appreciate all you all are doing to educate and make others feel more comfortable/welcome.
Wish I could join in the upcoming meet/greet, but I'll still be with my boy scout troop coming home from a week at camp. Will look forward to meeting all of you another time.

Too bad you can't attend the upcoming Meet and Greet, but I'm pretty certain we'll run into one another somewhere along the line.

Interesting you mention the boy scouts. The first time I ever fired a firearm was at Camp Morris in Illinois. They had a .22 rifle range, and I discovered myself to be a pretty darn good shot. Then it was a whole lot of years after that until I fired another gun. Now I spend a fair amount of my time on the range practicing with my handguns. Who'da figured?
