Was out visiting our fav gentalmans club. I carry my bug if I dont plan on drinking to much. After a meal we decided to hit another club to see a lady friend/dancer. She wasnt working so we hit another where our waitress friend works. It was her b-day. Never been to this place b4. So we go in and get id'ed. He says I need to pat ya down. Great. Hope he dont feel my boot! He finds my knife and said put it out in your vehicle. He then stops at my knee when I said I better go now. The wife, and our friend give me their pocket knives and his eyes were big. I come back in and he pats me again. I told him he better be hell of a bouncer cause I dont like not having a firearm. He just looked at me. We set and do b-day shots with her and the wife tells her about it. She is gonna ask the boss man next time to let us in carring. A MC friend said they only do it on the weekends. I doubt we will be back tho. The wife hated being there unarmed to. Had lotta gansta wannabis there. Ive partied and drank with alot of 1%ers before but this made me nervous. Never been patted down.

Negative. I dont or have ever flown, nor plan on it. If I ever have to go somewhere where I cannot ride my scoot to the place, then its not worth me going! lol

I use to hit a joint that had the dancers rotate on "Pat down duty" at the door

It was out in the country, mostly good-ole-boys and as safe as a "gentleman's" club can be

I used to manage an "adult nightclub" near Sea-Tac airport, and on the weekends we did pat-downs too. I worked the door as well, and covered the door when the door guy was escorting the contractors out to their vehicles. One night, a Harley guy rolls up, and I just asked him, "Are you packing?" He said "Yup, and I asked him to follow me to the office, where he was able to disarm, and I put the gun into the safe. When he was ready to go, he motioned to me, and we reversed the process. No big deal, no sweat, and he thanked me for being polite about it. I knew he didn't like it, I know I wouldn't have either, but I had to enforce the posted club rules for everyone.

So Indiana allows people to carry concealed and drink alcohol?

A "gentleman's club" I use to frequent in Bloomington didn't charge me a cover (and frequent free mugs) because the owner knew I carried and liked the idea of a customer being able help in a crises.

OBTW; thanks to over reaching by zealous police and prosecutor in Missouri, now you can be falling down drunk on main street and as long as you do nothing stupid with your gun you have committed NO firearm offense!!!!

There's nudie bar I used to frequent when I was a bouncer in Savannah. The door man would let me check my firearm at the door. That's how all bars should be IMO.

So what's the problem; he knew me as a regular well before he knew I always carried. He knew I was always behaved, treated the girls with respect and I NEVER got even slightly drunk (would rotate 1 beer with 2 or 3 O'Doul's) and I had backed up the door man/bouncer a couple times. He liked having an "unknown" in the house.
