Hello All,
It's been pretty smoky out here in Elizabeth from the wildfires. But that didn't stop us from getting out of the house tonight. We went to dinner at Guadalajara Mexican Resturant in Elizabeth, and I was OC'ing my Smith and Wesson .40. Place was pretty busy for a Tuesday night. No one said anything about my sidearm, and plenty of people noticed it. An older couple kept looking at my sidearm, but I think it was more out of curiosity. We finished, paid our tab and went off to Walmart down the street.
We get to Walmart, start shopping around, and guess what? No one cared about my openly carried pistol. Plenty of folks saw it there, and not one peep from anyone. All in all, a great night to OC and spend some time with my lady. The best thing was she didn't say a thing about my sidearm tonight! She usually gives me a stink-eye when I chamber a round and holster it before leaving the house. And she usually asks me questions as to why I have to carry that thing everywhere. But tonight, she didn't say one word! Wow! She amazes me each and everyday. Now I should slowly convince her to start carrying.
All in all, a great night! Even though it smells like campfire.
Blessings,
Keens
