Now that it has been determined to be constitutional, we can get to the task of moving it toward single payer (which it should have been from the start, IMHO).

This is such BS. Its not a tax, but it is a tax. If you support this, don't complain when they march you into the gas chamber.

I have mixed feelings. One on hand I am angry because this ruling is just terrible. On the other hand, we just got closer to the civil war so I guess thats a positive sign.

The did not rule that the ACA is constitutional. The ACA is a tax and the court will not and can not tell congress that it can not lay a tax. Art. I, Sec. 8.

As a tax, the ACA can be raised like any other tax.

I feel this has taken us a step closer to the next revolution. I was had hope I wouldn't see it in my life time but it looks like I will.

The Goverment is out of control (both parties) and our freedoms are being stripped one by one. This gives the goverment a free hand on what they can tell the average American what they "have to buy".

What is preventing the goverment from saying you have to buy their food, their electricity...another step toward socialism in my option.

The goverment is slowly turning this country into crap and not just under this president; this one has just switched it into high gear and stepped on the gas.

Don't buy health insurance.....pay the tax once a year.....get sick.....buy health insurance (yearly premium divided by 12) to get well....don't pay the 11 other premium payments....lose health insurance....pay the tax....repeat as required.

You may not know this, but Chief Justice Roberts was put on the Bench by W. Bush (Republican).

You may not know this, but Kagan was placed on the bench by Odumba*s. Kagan was solicitor general when this bill was introduced, which means she was involved in the process with the administration and by law should have excused herself from this case. Now, we all know Kagan did not do this, and ruled in favor of the law she helped get where it is. This shows how truly ridiculous and un-ethical our current president and his supreme court nominations are. If this had been a republican justice the libretards would have been marching on Washington moaning and crying because they didn't get their socialistic way. I am tired of this gangster administration and their unlawful ways, and I am truly devastated that my children will have to deal with a country that is broke and void of all the liberties it was founded with because of what one man and his cronies have done to my country. Obummer must go, and his gross negligent cabinet.

You must not read much about Justice Thomas, and his bouts of conflicts of interest.

Vote for Romney 2012--get President Obama out of office, I double-dog dare-ya.

If you are personally responsible enough to already have health insurance, this will not affect you in the least. If you don't have health insurance, take a little personal responsibility and obtain some so the rest of us don't have to pay your ER cost. The idea that providing more Americans with health care is grounds for armed revolution is just sick.

Just talked to some Doctors here a few minutes ago. They are not going to see any of these Obama care patients and are going into "elite care". They said they will sign up 900 patients only. Each patient will pay $2,000.00 a year to be able to be seen in a timely manner like the present system, not like the common Obama care level people who will have to wait months and years to get things done. That's almost two million a year upfront if you go Elite! Wow! I wouldn't think that would be legal. Who's going to be left to care for the millions added to the system in a few years?
