    DHS Response to an "Active Shooter"

    It seems that some agents of the DHS share some of the same opinions as me, but some how fall short. I guess self-defense is only for LEOs.

    So let me get this straight.

    If you are an active shooter engaged in illegal murderous activity, the Federal cops are being asked to leave you alone.

    If you are a legally armed citizen going about his normal, everyday, legal business, the local cops are supposed to prone you out and hope for a furtive movement.

    Does that about sum up Amerika these days?

    DHS is an abomination, and it should be dissolved. If they're advocating non-action tactics like this, I'm guessing that is why they are buying all those armored vehicles, something to hide in. That doesn't, on the other hand, explain why they bought all those bullets though..... confusing.

    Yet another ridiculous rule for the unconstitutional department. I think its hilarious. Why? Because some Brady campaign type got into the dhs and decided that violence meeting violence is not an option. Another reason to get back to old school America.

    DHS= Department of Homeland Stupidity

    They only serve to show the most stupid course of action.
    Provision for free medical attendance and nursing, for clothing, for food, for housing, for the education of children, and a hundred other matters, might with equal propriety be proposed as tending to relieve the employee of mental strain and worry. --- These matters obviously lie outside the orbit of congressional power. DHS = Department of Hopeless Stupidity

    DHS = Department for Harboring Socialists

    DHS = Depraved Hapless Showmanship

    DHS = Delving Hopefully into your Skivvies

    DHS = Darkness Hovering Seriously

    DHS = Demonic Harpies, Sanguinous

    It is our cause to dispel the foggy thinking which avoids hard decisions in the delusion that a world of conflict will somehow mysteriously resolve itself into a world of harmony, if we just don't rock the boat or irritate the forces of aggression—and this is hogwash."

    WOD, these sound like the same instructions given to the UN "Peacekeeping Forces", who hide in their armored vehicles if there's trouble of any kind. The theory is obvious - keep their part of the peace by not interfering with the BGs. I'm sure this makes political sense to somebody in DHS, as well. Their leadership is composed of cowards... just like the UN approach of sending 25 warnings (followed by a dozen or so strongly worded letters of condemnation) to a country that doesn't comply with their UN resolutions. Much of the government should be dissolved, due to duplication of effort and overlap of responsibilities. (Personally, I think the Border Patrol, ICE, FBI, CIA, Secret Service, and all Military intelligence units (including NCIS, OSI and CID) should fall under the umbrella of, and report directly to, the NSA on any matters that may be of consequence to national security.) Just my thoughts. The IRS should be cut in half, and all members of Congress should take a 50% pay cut, a 50% reduction in "staff", and not be given a full-pay retirement after one term. Those actions would save the government a bundle! Pax...
