Going to vacation this fall in CO and wondering as a non res can I OC? What are particulars about transporting in vehicle?

We are now running on a new, and hopefully much-improved, server. In addition we are also on new forum software. Any move entails a lot of technical details and I suspect we will encounter a few issues as the new server goes live. Please be patient with us. Non res of CO and Open Carry? Vehicle open carry?

You can OC except in Denver proper where CC only allowed. I'm just south of Denver and OC frequently
You can carry anyway you like in your car except loaded long gun. I usually have it on my hip in holster. It's only stowed in my vehicle if I have to go in to a forbidden place.
If you are stopped in your car for some reason you are not required to notify. I think I would but as I say not required.
