Classic Cars & OC?

I was wondering, since I'm helping my Dad restore a "Half-Year" 1961/1962 Volkswagen Beetle, where would I find other OC'ers who have Classic Cars? maybe a OC Friendly Car Meet? It would be fun to do something like that!

He's leaving it as a 6 Volt. He wants to preserve how the car was, so I can see what a "Real" Economy car was like. The dashboard has only 3 knobs on it and a basic AM Radio!

Classic Cars and Guns... I love it! As American as Baseball and Cracker Jack. Too bad I'd only be able to participate as a ogler, no classic car, but I do have a Colt New Service I could strap on, as a "Classic Gun"!

Mount over size tires on the back rims,,,
Then mount those back rims, Backwords!!!
They look cool!!!
I did that to my 62 bug in 1970..
That was soooo cool back in the day, That I am Still cool to this very day...

Hey! We used to own one of those! I learned to steer, shift, and do the pedal work in it, about the same time I learned to shoot.
