Billings, how is it?

We're considering picking up and moving. We like it here in the New Mexico, but I was born and bred in the Rockies and I've missed it for some time now. My wife is a desert rat from Nevada but I've dragged her out that way a few times and she loves the mountains and greenery too... there's more reasons too, closer to my family and still within striking distance of hers, etc. I know the gun laws up there are very enticing, and so is the scenery, so how is the general quality of life? Is it as laid back up there as we're hoping? How's housing?

How's the work?! I currently manage an auto parts store and am enrolled for another associates degree to continue furthering my future possibilities. My wife manages the front desk at a hotel and will be pursuing further education in the hospitality industry.

Anything else we should know from the folks who know?
