Anyone watching Longmire? Seems the perfect place to play out an old joke

OK; I haven't watched episodal TV in AGES but thought Longmier looked tolerable, I do have a couple complaints...

1} They need a competent firearms consultant (but what Hollyweird production doesn't; except the Jessie Stone movies, but hey they have Tom Selleck)
2} There are holes in some of the story lines big enough to drive a truck through.

NOW; I would LOVE to see this old joke played out and the Longmier character is PERFECT for it....

Sheriff walks into a county council meeting and an old bitty approaches him and says "I see you have your pistol with you sheriff; are you expecting trouble"?

Longmier: "No mam; if I were expecting trouble I'd-a brought my rifle".
