Hey guys I just found this site and really appreciate all the info on here. So I have created a group on face book anybody can join. search for "Alabama Open Carry"

My intentions are that people will join in and post the laws of open carry so that the public can become aware of the law.

Then there's the forums at AlabamaOpenCarry.com, where most of the chatter happens.

Edit: The FB group is REALLY busy, but the forums are a close second.

When it comes to searching Alabama law, I recommend searching the forums since the archives are available publicly. I've written a lot of stuff myself over time; sometimes I contradict myself due to a change in understanding a given law or case.
