A quick follow up search of Mt. Pleasant's ordinances show their park's ordinance has been changed.

Taylor - however being what they are - - - - - - -, the new ordininance is nearly as bad / confusing as the old one. If you notice Dougwg's avatar - that's Taylor's lawyer stating on the record that what the city paid him $1,200 to write was NOT what they posted.

Giving up civil rights for security is a certain way to lose both!

Ionia's Bertha Brock PArk is in the middle of changing the Park rules to remove a ban on firearms. It has notbeen posted as yet, but we have an email from the park manager giving us the new wording.

Parks have had rules changed reflected to be in compliance with MCL 123.1102.

Signs may or may not have been updated, but they are aware they are unenforceable since 2009.
