why are they being called "bullet buttons" ... nobody knows what you are talking about

Bullet buttons are a component to replace a standard magazine release that can be activated by a tool (like the tip of a bullet) to remove a fixed magazine. We use bullet buttons because a standard magazine release would configure it with features possessed by an assault weapon which are not legal in California. The aforementioned legislation is intended to eliminate any detachable magazine on a semi-automatic firearm that has any of the enumerated characteristics of an assault weapon.
