    Is this paranoia or not?

OK, every time I read one of these articles I think the writer has his tin foil hat on to tight. I mean this must be paranoid right?

But something in this caught my eye and I remembered this article from the Las Vegas Review Journal (My hometown newspaper)

Shoot most of these mines are 75 to 125 years old.

It wouldn't be the first time the U.S. military was used against civilians on U.S. soil. General Douglas MacArthur, by direction of President Herbert Hoover, dispatched Major George S. Patton and mounted cavalry, against American WWI veterans in Washington D.C. in March of 1932.

There are "things" coming together now that don't put a repeat of such actions outside the realm of possibility. Being suspicious isn't exactly the same thing as being paranoid - especially when there is a precedent. Pax...

And even the Bonus army massacre had its warning signs, and people who were willing to stand up and give their names when saying what might be on the horizon.

While there might be some connection between all of the dots that folks are trying to connect, the lack of names bothers me. If I had something to say that was both The Truth and a warning of coming doom and gloom, I know of several ways of getting the message out so it can be verified. Naming the source is not the only way, but it is one of the easiest. The other thing that bothers me is there does not seem to be any follow-up, any investigation, to determine if there is even a shred of evidence behind the rumors.

If two guys who heard some rumors about the feds doing strange stuff with guns could expose Fast & Furious, a reporter ought to be able to track down a rumor enough to at least say there is more than just one crazy person saying this stuff and here's why I think there might be something behind what they are saying. Given the numbers of folks that are needed to reposition troops and supplies, let alone do that for the purpose suggested, there is no way that complete and utter OpSec can be maintained. Folks who Know Stuff like to tell others that they Know Stuff and what it is that they know.

While it is not beyond the realm of possibility, I have more reasons to doubt than to believe the rumors. That does not mean that I will not continue to check back and see if anything else gets added to the pile such that my confidence in the veracity of the rumors grows.

    stay safe.

I know AJ's work very well. In fact, I stream his show on my website. While he at times overstates the case or the imminence of what he's saying or engages in overly entertaining rants, he is IMHO on target with the direction and intent of the what is going on. I watched his show at first and laughed at it all for a few weeks. I'm sorry to say that I'm not laughing anymore.

    Now I'm just angry.

I have seen others do things similar to this, and being a bit short in the "faith" department, I do so hesitantly:
(Matthew 24:6-7) "And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places."
I don't know that I believe in "prophecy", but I do believe that there are people who are World-class "Connect-the-Dots" players - flatbed RR cars transporting approximately 180 APC's and tanks to SoCal - ostensibly for "maintenance/refitting", a relatively new Army MOS of "Advanced Internment/Resettlement Specialist (31E)" (see below), a corrupt administration composed of leftists/Socialists/Marxists and Communists trying to foment class warfare, illicit gunrunning by the DOJ, rumors of government internment camps, the "Patriot Act", and constant attacks on 2A. There are, undoubtedly, many more "dots" to connect, but these are the ones that piqued my interest.

Some months ago, I discovered a link that gave me significant pause. The text and accompanying video, coupled with some previous information that I dismissed as basically "just another radical conspiracy theory", sent me on a search for the "truth" (my truth is not necessarily your truth). Truth is an individual concept, as are other ephemeral concepts such as justice, honesty and loyalty, so I went looking for something approximating what I could consider "truthful".
Well, one link led to another, and - taking all the available information into consideration - a RED FLAG went up! The following is an excerpt from that second link... the U.S. Army - http://www.goarmy.com/JobDetail.do?id=292
These are some of the duties and responsibilities of the Advanced Internment/Resettlement Specialist:
Advanced level Internment/Resettlement Specialist provides guidance, supervises and trains other Soldiers within the same discipline. As an advanced level I/R Specialist, you may be involved in:
    • Supervise and establish all administrative, logistical and food support operations, confinement/correctional, custodial, treatment, and rehabilitative activities
    • Responsible for all personnel working in the confinement/correctional facility, including security, logistical, and administrative management of the prisoner/internee population
    • Provide command and control, staff planning, administration/logistical services, and custody/control for the operation of an Enemy Prisoner of War/Civilian Internee (EPW/CI) camp
    • Provide command and control, staff planning, administration/logistical services, and custody/control for the operation of detention facility or the operation of a displaced civilian (DC) resettlement facility." (red added by me for emphasis)
Shades of Abu Ghraib! I don't know about anybody else, but for me this carries the stench of the WWII Internment Camps for Japanese-Americans... only this time it sounds like they will be for any and all American citizens who do not agree with the current administration. A government that fears it's free citizens, is obviously a corrupt government... with reason to fear those who are paying attention to the direction it is taking. The question is, is our government expecting a rebellion of some kind... or are they actively involved in attempting to create a rebellion, so they can invoke Martial Law? Pax..

P.S. I just checked that Army link, and discovered that the (posted) job description for 31E has been changed. It has been PC'd now, to the point of becoming vague - almost innocuous. They have removed all references to "civilians". What I posted above was taken directly from that link just a few months ago. And "the Devil is in the details".

I decided to rearm a few months ago. I am convinced the economy will go into a full-blown collapse and there may be a full breakdown of basic services in this country. It seems obvious that the government is thinking the same thing. But the way they are going about it seems foolhardy to me.

I seem to recall reading about a place where the lawful government at the time started imposing new taxes and then used the military to try to control the population.......... they might want to check with England to see how that worked out.

Agree with this ^^^^. We are on the same track here. Good idea to prepare for the worst. Why more people are not questioning so much of what is going on is beyond me. Like they are in a trance.

Here is a short article about how the banks are making plans for a collapse:
