My fathers church is having a festival in a couple weeks and I'll be going since it has always a good time. My question is, Is it legal to open carry there since it is within 1000 feet of a school?

The school is located on church property, this is why I am confused. I know I can carry at churches but since the school is on the property I'm not sure even thou the school is owned by the church.
I do not have my cc permit either
