Which is why gunsmiths have two rate cards - one for the folks who bring their firearm in with a description of why they think it needs something done to it, and the higher one for those that have already tried to go beyond their level of competence. I have heard of a few who also have rates for anything a person has touched with a Dremel, but I think that's just urban myth as once that happens there is nothing but the trash heap.
