on the one hand you have the usual anti-cop /anti-Zimmerman bunch who, if this man were stopped, would be shouting "what's their RAS??????" -Yet, because they didnt...the guy ends up busting into some other fellow's bedroom in the middle of the night, and ends up getting blasted..

On the other hand- a good one to point out to anti-2a folks, when they ask idiotic questions like "why do you need/carry(insert your choice here) a gun??" -Well, DUH, this is a perfectly good example, right here- You can bit conked out in your home, doors locked, with cops half-a block away...and what good would the cops/were the cops, able to be?

Sorry I can't get on board with blaming the cops. Stumbling, nor mumbling are cause for a detention. Although the cop certainly could have asked the guy if he was alright.

You're right, the cops did nothing wrong by not stopping him.

It would have a been a common courtesy, by any citizen, though to ask him if he was alright and needed help.
Provision for free medical attendance and nursing, for clothing, for food, for housing, for the education of children, and a hundred other matters, might with equal propriety be proposed as tending to relieve the employee of mental strain and worry. --- These matters obviously lie outside the orbit of congressional power.
