Platforms don't mean anything.

And we've seen from this year's nomination process that rules don't mean anything either to the RNC and Romney camp. ...I was starting to type a list, including what powergrab they are currently trying to do at the convention, but I guess this is the wrong thread for that.

Platforms mean a lot in sorting out which side you may select.

The Repubs adopted their platform, and it's a piece of work.


Republican platform strongest ever on 2A

When delegates to the Republican National Convention adopted their party platform for 2012 this week, it included what Alan Gottlieb, chairman of the Bellevue-based Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms, called the “strongest pro-gun-rights platform I’ve ever seen.”
