    Gun Procedure in Courthouses?

I have court tomorrow on Newbury Street in Portland. I know that firearms are prohibited from entering the courtroom, but I'm unable to find anything about the process for having one in the courthouse at all. I haven't been in this courthouse, so I'm not sure if there's a place where I can store my gun while I'm in the courtroom? I'll be walking around all day so I'd rather not go without it. Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks!

Firearms are prohibited in a courtHOUSE, not a courtROOM. You can't bring it into the building at all. You cannot store your gun there. When I need to go in a courthouse, I leave it in my car.
