Fun time at bass pro in md

Ok had a company meeting at arundal mills and while I was waiting I stopped by bass pro to check out the firearms. A couple there was looking at one and they asked what they had to do to buy one. After the clerk went through a long list of state police background checks waiting period etc they left. I was looking at some full size ones and they clerk said something about I would have a hard time covering it with a jacket. I looked at him and said its ok I live in Virginia and open carry. He quickly looked at my hip because I had two cell phones to make sure I wasn't carrying. Another customer said he wished they could do that there. Got to love a free state.

You are kinder than I would have been. I think I would have said something like, "I don't really have to worry about it, I still live in the United States of AMERICA."

I was there a couple nights ago. I hate going to MD, but I love going to Bass Pro and then going over to the new casino in the mall!

Better hope we don't close the border while you're there!

There's one in Ashland, just about 10 miles north of Richmond. (Bass Pro, not a casino.)

That place is among my son's favorite places to visit. His routine in there includes riding the elevator up and down several times, looking at the fish, pulling the trigger on the kiddies' toy pump action shotgun (I want to buy it for him but it's about $30 and it's hard to convince my wife that a 2 year old NEEDS a $30 toy shotgun) and attempting to drive, ride and pilot every single thing they have with steering wheels, handlebars or rudders, followed by several loud outbursts of "NO" when I tell him it's time to go home.

If and when the Richmond crew have another OC dinner there I won't be able to take Logan, he'd never sit still unless we could convince the restaurant to turn an ATV into a high chair

Those of us in the EMS world have always called Peoples Republic of Maryland because of the stringent EMS regulations, I guess it also applies to firearms as well
