    Open Carry in GA?

    It is legal to Open Carry on your person with a CCP in GA?

    with a ccp you can open or conceal carry anywhere except for those few places that are listed in the SB308 as prohibited. so government buldings, places of worship, schools/universities. google SB 308 and read it, i know its long but if you've never read a senate bill than this is a good one to start with.

    O.C.G.A. § 16-11-127 - Carrying weapons in unauthorized locations; penalty Eight enumerated areas where carrying is prohibited by law.
    With a Georgia Weapons License, you can carry openly or concealed as suits your mood.

    So, cool in a restaurant that serves alcohol; so long as the primary purpose of said restaurant is actually to be a restaurant, not a bar who's primary purpose is to serve alcohol.
