Question Non-Res VA Concealed Carry License....

Just wondering how long the usual process takes to get a CHL in VA.

Im thinking about adding VA non res to my collection.

    Probably better asked here: nonrespermitquestions@vsp.virginia.gov

I would expect asking the question on the VA forums isn't going to get you many anwsers as most VA resident's that have CHP's have resident permits.

Other info regarding VA CHP's can be found here: http://leg1.state.va.us/000/cod/18.2-308.HTM

If you think like a Statist, act like one, or back some, you've given up on freedom and have gone over to the dark side.
The easiest ex. but probably the most difficult to grasp for gun owners is that fool permission slip so many of you have, especially if you show it off with pride. You should recognize it as an embarrassment, an infringement, a travesty and an affront to a free person.

I live in Maryland and I'm submitting an application for a VA non-res permit next month (October). So I'll keep you updated on the timeline.

A couple of years ago, I received mine in about 35 days. No idea of the wait now.
