Fishing at Gulf Shores Pier - Open Carry

I an planning a gulf shores fishing trip in the near future and would like to spend most of my time on the pier. I know this pier is considered to be part of the Alabama state park systems. Can I oc while on the pier? Has any one had any dealing/issues with this? Would love some clear understanding/explanation before I go..

You may run into issues, just know how to properly be arrested, carry a voice recorder with the erase function disabled.

1) don't talk to cops
2) you have a right to remain silent, use it.
3) don't consent to any searches ("Mind if I look around a little bit?")

My driod x has a voice recorder on it that is linked to my drop box account. So as soon as it finishes recording it will upload to my online account. I was hopping to avoid being arrested! Great advice, but no sure the answer I was looking for.
