It's scary sometimes how easily you can find yourself 'accepting' things. Just yesterday I was watching a tv series where two major characters had disappeared and couldn't be located. I found myself wondering,"Gee, why don't they just ask the phone companies to list the last GPS location those phones were before they went off the grid (or at least what cell tower triangulation was last recorded.) The fact that phone companies and LE shouldn't be tracking such things without judicial oversight went completely over my head........ at least for a little while.
