I do both depending upon what my activities are for the day. When I retire at the end of the year I might OC more.

I live next to a school. The CCW law now allows me to carry all the time. otherwise I could not carry when walking the dogs or even get the mail with out leaving the gun on property.

If I hadn't lost all my weapons in that terrible boating accident I'd carry both ways. Depending on how I was dressed.

    And we "only" made 138,000-ish?
Not bad at all. That's approaching 2700 per week, or a bit over 500 each work day.

Gee, wouldn'tcha think that with so many untrained wannabe cops packing loaded hidden heat that there would be blood in the streets & shootouts over parking spaces several times a day? Innocent people being shot for looking at someone wrong? Trick or treaters being killed for knocking on doors?
    [/sarcasm]
Where are the news reports of all the problems???

Here in Milwaukee the media have been doing their best to highlight all the criminal activities involving guns, but I don't think there's been even one story about misconduct by a licensee.
(I have read a couple from outlying towns where people carried while drunk, and there was that one cop who was arrested for DUI & handling a loaded gun at the scene. Wonder what ever happened to him? Betcha it isn't as bad as what happened to me!)
And all those stories about criminals just bolster our position that people need to be ready to protect themselves wherever, whenever.

    Carry habits have changed

My carry habits have changed dramatically since last November 15th (the day my license arrived).
I have carried every day since then but one, a day during a stint of pneumonia when I never left the house even to walk the dog.

I find that I open carry much more often now than I used to actually.

Nov. 1, 2011 was my first opportunity to meet some of the group here, out in Madison. I do remember us taking in some hearings on what was later to be called the "Castle Doctrine" bill. I enjoyed a nice lunch in Madison in a private meeting room, after realizing we were at the same place as the Madison Police Chief.

Paul and I had the battle of TV interviews, we both won: Paul was more knowledgable, and I was better looking!

P.S. I had met MKEgal previously at a informational meeting which featured Milwaukee County District Attorney John T. Chisholm and some legislators answering some questions about the new laws. Jeri Boniva of WAVE was NOT happy to see us. (or hear from us!)

More OC, definitely since fully legit now.

No more load/unload in and out of vehicles!

Can now pass by schools loaded. Lot of other differences in habits, abililities, choices.

    Can conceal when I want.

WI is not in a cloud as much now, sunny days for different carry options.
