Yet another example of the absurdity of California.....

Some adult content in the link.. well not visual just reporting on an adult type subject.

A full legal battle and threats to move their industry elsewhere following a crushing new burden of regulatory compliance.

    Over what you ask?

    Just... Wow.

I can't believe that this is my country..... not like california has any pressing budget issues or anything to deal with first...

Careful, or Shoobee will be over here saying the actors deserve special medical insurance provisions and telling how Obama will pay for it.
I'll make you an offer: I will argue and fight for all of your rights, if you will do the same for me. That is the only way freedom can work. We have to respect all rights, all the time--and strive to win the rights of the other guy as much as for ourselves.

If I am equal to another, how can I legitimately govern him without his express individual consent?

There is no human being on earth I hate so much I would actually vote to inflict government upon him.

Shoobee is on ignore status, I'm trying really hard to not respond to any of his posts.

But you're right. they obviously need full government health coverage!

Oh, don't put him on ignore. No sense in you being annoyed and having to do something to avoid him.

Plus, he's entertaining with his stupidity, contradictions, and shillery. Why, the last time we had anybody like that was Donkey a few years ago. But, he's been gone a while now. This whole election would have been a total bore if not for Shoobee's absurd antics. We need two or three more like him to liven the place up. Any other time you have to pay a cover charge to get that kind of comedy. Here its free!

Another example of those making rules for others for an activity they are not even involved in.

Whats next crossing the street safely in the middle of the block will be outlawed......oh wait.

Or AWDStylz not that was entertainment.

I only had one person on ignore for his constant personal attacks, I took him off and actually have fun pointing out the hypocrisy in his statist, positivistic, neocon way of thinking.
I am not anti Cop I am just pro Citizen.

    U.S. v. Minker, 350 US 179, at page 187
"Because of what appears to be a lawful command on the surface, many citizens, because
of their respect for what only appears to be a law, are cunningly coerced into waiving their
    rights, due to ignorance." (Paraphrased)

Really, what is the difference between hiring a hooker and making a porn flick?

One you record the event and the other you don't.
Provision for free medical attendance and nursing, for clothing, for food, for housing, for the education of children, and a hundred other matters, might with equal propriety be proposed as tending to relieve the employee of mental strain and worry. --- These matters obviously lie outside the orbit of congressional power. (Railroad Retirement Board v Alton Railroad)
