when in your vehicle how is the weapon suppossed to be, out of reach or can it be holstered without a CC? I am not understanding the way it is written

Most of the state is what they call plain view in a vehicle. Problem you run into is a few cities have banned open carry in vehicles so unless you know every city ordinance you could put yourself in a bad situation inadvertently. Best thing to do is get a concealed carry permit and you would be exempt from any city or county ordinance or resolution banning OC in vehicles.
