    White House Petition

Might not do any good, but it would give us an idea where they stand on this.

Exclamation Petition Obama Administration concealed carry permits

This petition is something I ran across today and I thought it would be best to share it with enthusiasts like myself. I know that this forum is centered around open carry but living in California has me grasping at anything I can get.

    Thanks, but no thanks.

Not really interested in getting the federal government any more involved than they already are in anything to do with 2nd Amendment or RKBA. What the king grants, so can the king restrict/take away. That camel's nose is to chilling for my liking.
Better to not open your mouth and be thought the fool, than to open it and remove all doubt.

Nope. Keep the federal government the hell out of it. If they can pass that law, then they can also pass a law setting the education and training requirements. And, once that door is open, who knows what kinda regulation will come.

    No, no, no. No-uh!!
I'll make you an offer: I will argue and fight for all of your rights, if you will do the same for me. That is the only way freedom can work. We have to respect all rights, all the time--and strive to win the rights of the other guy as much as for ourselves.

If I am equal to another, how can I legitimately govern him without his express individual consent?

There is no human being on earth I hate so much I would actually vote to inflict government upon him.

This is an issue best left to the states. I'd rather keep things close to home and talk to those who really matter; my locally elected sheriff, state representative, senators and governor. The is the problem, not the solution and the last place to go for keeping our freedoms.

I have this on all of my profiles but something tells me the government could care less.

-I come in peace, I didn't bring artillery. But I am pleading with you with tears in my eyes: If you screw with me, I'll kill you all.
-Be polite, be professional, but have a plan to kill everybody you meet.
    Marine General James Mattis,
