Isn't that how it works?
So these robberies have to be made up, or else they happened at the drive-through.

Ah-ha! So, the obvious solution is to post the drive-thrus.

Or, just require the tellers to announce it when greeting the next drive-thru customer. "Welcome to Fractional-Reserve and Inflationary Bank. We do not allow guns in cars at the drive-thru. How may I help you."

In WI they can't post parking lots (so by extension, a drive-through).
I was smiling at the thought of a teller (and criminal) being so stupid as to do a robbery that way.
