How does this relate to OC? The taser incident is unlikely to occur, but the false affidavit or false declaration could occur to hide a cop who violates the law while violating your 2A, 4A, and 5A rights.
Interesting, and likely not a rare occurrence.....for any police department. Is there not other OK laws that were not violated for the false official report? In MO it is a misdemeanor to make a false affidavit or false declaration. RSMO 575.050 and 575.060.The suit also claims that Taylor-Santino, who initially was not aware the incident had been videotaped, lied on a report he filed in connection with the Taser episode.
“In his ‘use of force report,' (Taylor-Santino) sought to cover up and/or conceal his actions … by omitting that (Williams) was handcuffed when she was shot with the Taser,” the suit alleges. “As a result he was found to have acted ‘within policy' by police department officials.”
