Sorry I missed it last year. Hope this birthday greeting makes up for last year and this year -

Get back to us when you actually get old*. You have at least 6 more years of work towards funding my retirement - get busy!

And being a curmudgeon helps, too.

stay safe.

* - Some of us were around when they took a vote about dirt. I was against it - rocks were good enough for all those years and I still do not see any real need for the stuff.

Well,,,,

Thanx Skid...

I feel I have been OLD long enough to understand

I stopped funding your, my, our retirement 16 years ago,,, I got out at 44!!!

And being a curmudgeon helps, too.
Being a curmudgeon being a system of attitude not age, you, we, I all are from time to time. I know you are not always, and I find it easy to not be, unless it is the right time, the right place and is necessary at the her, why, time!

stay safe.

.
I was called up for the revote.
The debates were intense!

I voted for DIRT,,, It was much desired by the farmers of the time,
and although rocks are cleaner,
children have always enjoyed making MUD Pies more than those made of rocks.
Also John Deere complained about the undue wear of their farm implements!

You could always borrow an old toast I know of; just don't give it where wives or girlfriends can hear. From old U.S. Cavalry dining-ins:

"Here's to our wives and the women we love....(long pause).....may they never meet!!

May you have many more Happy Birthdays!
