Only after I saw the sign, and recognized it, did I realize what you were actually saying. This is the sign at Main Street Station Casino, a Boyd property.

Your post makes one think it is on Main Street itself.

But yes, I have often remarked at the irony of the sign, and it's one of the examples I use in my class when I discuss signage.

Yes it is the casino not the street. I thought it would be a good example as to how they try to use the wording of signs to scare gun carriers. They put homeland security because people will think its a law and they can not carry there. I have had alot of people call me and ask me and I tell them that the sign has no bearing. Then I warn them if cought and asked to leave do not argue and leave the property.
