I could only laugh when I received an automated call from my kids school in response to the Sandy shooting that one of their security procedures is to require visitors to sign in.

Sir, I'm sorry. You can't come in and shoot us, you see this is a gun free zone and you forgot to sign in. We don't allow visitors hellbent on destruction, I'm sorry, you'll have to leave.
