    This is a first.

    Best wishes, Samantha.
I'll make you an offer: I will argue and fight for all of your rights, if you will do the same for me. That is the only way freedom can work. We have to respect all rights, all the time--and strive to win the rights of the other guy as much as for ourselves.

If I am equal to another, how can I legitimately govern him without his express individual consent?

There is no human being on earth I hate so much I would actually vote to inflict government upon him.

there is a "End of the Year" shoot happening in Olympia on the 31st.

WaGuns Shootout - 12/31/12 in Olympia

    Where?
At the Evergreen Sportsman's Club (MAP)
We will have exclusive use of the covered and benched 10-11 position 100-yard range, as well as the use of the covered and benched 25 yard pistol bay.

    When?
December 31st, 2012 from 10am-4pm (shooting will be allowed from 11am-4pm)

    Why?
    Why the hell not!

    How much?
$20/shooter. ALL of this goes back to ESC

    Any additional details?
    A few;

    Small stuff:
    • All Shooters are required to sign a waiver provided by ESC.
    • Cost is $20/person. Cash. Change may be available later in the day.
    • No .50BMG (I know, I know.. but it is, what it is)
    • Single port-a-potty is on site

    Targets:
    • Target stands that accept 1x2's will be there for us to use. There will be a limited amount of sticks and cardboard on hand, so no guarantees.
    • No trash / refuse to be used as targets.
    • Steel is okay, and echoes nicely.
    • No Tannerite please.
    • Pack out what you pack in.

    Range Rules:
    • Gun safety is #1!
    • Standard Range Rules will apply and will be posted
    • Anybody who is unsafe with firearms will be asked to leave
    • No loaded guns allowed behind the shooting area
    • No handling guns during cold range
    • The range will be run by WaGuns and hand selected RSO's.

    Capacity:
    • TONS of parking is available
    • Rifle - With 10-11 benches / stalls in the rifle range, that section can comfortably house 22 shooters (2 per station)
    • Pistol - 3 benches can fit 6 people
    • Plan to rotate around, share stations
    • There are rifle racks and counters behind the shooting station. Plan on sharing racks and counter space
    • Tents/EZ-Ups. Bring em if you want. You won't be able to shoot out of them, but it would be a good place to hang out while others shoot.

    Food:
    • BYO... Food and beverage. I am sure we will have a thread shortly about a BBQ
    • This is a no alcohol facility. Leave your New Year Drinks in the car, or at home

I am sure there is more.

I would suggest that you attend a few of the coffee get to know ya events and go from there.

Personally I would think there would be single guys or any guys would beat the door down to go shooting ???? I live to far away or otherwise I would meet up for a shoot with most anyone on here.

    It's a joke. Relax please.

I was trying to get at the fact that you can't always tell anymore if it's a member of the opposite gender taking a shine to you.

It seemed kind of joky,, but I was slow on the uptake..
We get off topic sometimes,,, but this was really off OCDOish.
Ive never seen a thread looking for a "single guy" before,,, dating site??
I got all confused when citizen addressed her as Samantha,, It was in her signature line,,
But I couldnt see it because of the HUGE guns I have bought recently obscuring my screen!
Then when citizen said samantha,, my mind had a fart, as I remembered a poster called samantha,
and I imediantly became confused and entertwisted in my false recolections.
The point being,,, dont confuse hot every night with "Samanha"...

Article about me in The Northern Light

hope everyone is wlling to accept all of my recent regrets... thanks Bob

At 60 you should know by now that the term "hot every night" usually means "menopause".

Too bad I'm in Spokane and don't have a car right now. Otherwise, I'd love to go shooting!
Jesus thought it was more important to be armed than well dressed:

Then said He unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take it, and likewise his
scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.~Luke 22:36

    (Emphasis mine.)

(Note that the word "garment" here refers to an outer cloak, equivalent to today's sport coats or
suit jackets in that they both provided warmth and conveyed a certain level of sophistication.)

Why not go shooting with a couple? Or a group shooting? How about shooting with another female?

Without commmenting on the thread direction or topic, I love that photo. I see three locomotives involved.

I also notice the little handcar on the far left, mid-field. I don't think I've seen one of those since Saturday morning cartoons.

And, what's with that ditch running under the nearer tracks?

I'll answer that since I am one of the owners of WaGuns, who is putting on the shoot. Tannerite is allowed at ESC, but for this event WE (WaGuns) are choosing to not have it allowed. The main reason is that we are taking over the entire pistol and rifle side. Evergreen will NOT have staff there, the range will be run by WaGuns.org. This is a big test for outside groups to come in and take over the range, so to help with the possibility of future shoots there (for WaGuns, as well as others), we decided not to allow booms.
