I'm relatively new to "Gun Culture 2.0" having been away from guns for many of the "bad years" before taking up shooting sports again. I read of "blood-dancing" and of fears of under-the-radar gun control or even confiscation, but it was really hard to believe as more states instituted concealed carry and we were winning court case after case.
Now I believe.
We all need to write our state and federal legislators, we need to present a positive case to our friends and acquaintances, and we need to support those organizations fighting for us. To that end, I just renewed my NRA membership (9 months early), made a donation ot NRA-ILA, and made a donation to CT Carry. I encourage all readers of this forum to take similar action. The next US Congress, and the next CT legislative session, are going to absorb tremendous resources. We need to support those who will be on the front line, and we need to be ready to jump in with support when needed. I don't want to lose my rights, and potentially my freedoms, and I'm sure you don't either.
Thanks, Rich and Ed and others, for being willing to be out in front.
